1. CineBloom Diffusion Filter

Take off that digital edge.

Offered in 10% and 20% strengths, the Moment CineBloom Diffusion Filter is one of those rare pieces of gear that quietly changes everything. It takes the digital edge off your footage or photos and adds this soft, dreamy glow that just feels right—especially when you’re chasing that film look without actually shooting film.

We’ve used it in everything from golden hour portraits to moody travel edits, and it never disappoints. Light blooms in a natural way, skin tones feel smoother, and the whole image takes on a kind of warmth that’s hard to replicate in post.

The build quality is stellar. The aerospace-grade metal ring is slim but sturdy, and you can easily stack it under a VND if you’re shooting video and want that extra motion blur. The glass itself is legit: Japanese-made with a layer of fine black particulates that gives it its signature look.

If you’ve ever looked at a scene and wished it had just a little more vibe, this is the filter to reach for. It’s been our go-to for years, and it’s not leaving the kit anytime soon.

2. Moment Variable ND Filters

Your Go-To ND filter

Most variable ND filters feel like a compromise, especially the cheap ones on Amazon. Too chunky. Too flimsy. Too pricey for what you get. Moment’s version feels like it was made by people who actually shoot, not just spec it out in a lab.

The flared geometry is genius. You don’t have to crane your neck or take your eye off the scene to see what stop you’re on. The various hard stops on the end are a lifesaver and gives plenty of light options in various settings. This removes the guessing games, and removes that dreaded X-pattern in your skyline shots.

But what's wild is how lightweight it is. You expect something this capable to feel heavy, but it disappears on your lens, even when stacked. And yeah, you can stack it! Mix and match stops to dial in your exposure like a film shooter switching stocks mid-roll, or pair it with the CPL or CineBloom filter.

3. CineBloom VND Filter

That dreamy film look, with built-in precise light control.

The CineBloom VND combines our signature CineBloom diffusion with a built-in 2–5 stop Variable ND — giving you bloomed highlights, softened detail, and smooth motion blur without stacking filters. Available in 10% or 20% strengths, it lets you shoot cinematic footage with character, even in bright conditions.

Designed for going places, it features our unique viewfinder visible stops, so you always know where you are in the range — no guesswork, no checking between shots. A subtle detent at each end gives tactile feedback, while hard stops prevent cross-polarization. Housed in a lightweight, machined aluminum frame with a laser-etched Control Dial and our signature red anodized ring, this filter is made to work fast and hold up in the field.

4. CineClear UV Filters

Like insurance for your phone.

If you’re the kind of person who stresses over keeping your lens clean (same), the CineClear UV Protection Filter is one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference. It’s basically peace of mind in filter form like keeping dust, scratches, and greasy fingerprints off your glass without messing with your image quality.

Made with ultra-clear German Schott B270 glass (fancy way to say it's rugged) and coated with 16 layers of anti-reflection goodness. This way there's haze, no weird flares, just clear images and great added protection.

It’s also built to play nice with the rest of your gear. Stack it with your other filters or pop a lens cap on top without an issue. Whether you’re shooting outdoors, hiking with your camera slung over your shoulder, or just want to keep your kit in good shape, this one earns is a great mini investment.

5. AntiGlare CPL Filter

Clean up your outdoor images.

The Moment AntiGlare CPL Filter is like sunglasses for your lens—but better. If you’ve ever tried shooting through a windshield, over water, or just in blinding midday sun, you know how reflections can kill a shot. This thing fixes that. It dials back glare, deepens skies, and makes colors pop without feeling overprocessed. It’s the kind of tool that quietly does its job, then makes you look like a genius in post.

The glass is feud silica which is something you’d expect in way pricier filters. Coated 16 times over for clarity, durability, and color accuracy that feels honest. The ring is aerospace-grade metal with grippy knurling that feels smooth but precise, easy to adjust on the go, even with cold hands or while hiking up a ridgeline.

And it stacks perfectly with Moment’s other filters, which is a nice bonus.

6. Moment CineFlare Streak Filters

Gold or Blue?

It's like anamorphic flares but in filter form (skip the price tag of a big lens!). Just twist it on and you’re ready to roll. Available in blue for that sci-fi edge or gold for a warm, nostalgic glow, the CineFlare adds fun, cinematic flair to your footage while keeping the rest of your image sharp.

The housing is also made from Moment's other precision-machined aluminum and rotates really smoothly, letting you line up the flare exactly where you want it in direct light. Whether the light’s coming from a side window or overhead neon, you can adjust the angle just the way you like it. This is a more fun and stylized lens — but an awesome way to get fun effects without fake softwares or expensive lenses.

7.  Filter Mounts & Adapters

Lens filter adapters are one of those simple, underrated tools that make life a lot easier if you shoot with more than one lens. Say you’ve got a favorite filter— like the VND or CPL— but your lenses all have different thread sizes. Instead of buying the same filter over and over in different sizes, you just grab an adapter ring. All you gotta do is screw the adapter onto your lens like you would any normal filter, then attach your filter to the adapter. That’s it. The most common setup is using a larger filter on a smaller lens, which is perfect if you’ve invested in a higher-end filter and want to use it across your kit.

You can find these adapters at most photography stores or popular online retailers like Amazon, B&H Photo, and Adorama. They come in tons sizes to fit nearly any lens and filter combination.

It’s a small piece of gear, but if you’re constantly swapping lenses or traveling light, adapters let you pack less and do more. Plus, they’re cheap, reliable, and pretty much essential once you realize how handy they are.

How To Attach Filters To Your Phone

If you want to attach filters to your phone, we offer two simple options. A 37mm filter covers one lens, while a 67mm filter covers all three lenses and the microphone. If you’re using Moment lenses, we also have a 67mm Lens Filter Mount.

The Moment 67mm Snap-On Filter adapter easily clicks onto your phone case, letting you use filters across all three lenses. It’s designed to avoid vignetting (those weird dark edges) on ultra-wide shots and works with your phone’s microphone. You can also use it with other mobile accessories to build your perfect setup.

QuickLock Filters for iPhone 15 & 16
