Moment’s Mobile Macro Lenses
Moment sells two options — the Macro 10x and the Macro 75mm — and they behave very differently, even though both are proper macro glass.
I and II Models
We also have multiple models for each lens: the I and the II. Similar to how every phone models upgrade, our lenses have followed suit. Our II models offer the same great 75mm and 10x focal lengths, just with more glass and more sharpness. They'e about 30% more sharp than the previous T-Series macro lenses, making it even easier for you to focus at extreme close up shots and gives you edge to edge clarity even on the latest iPhone 17 Pro's. The existing T-Series macro lenses will phase out after they're sold out, for those that really want to upgrade we are extending our trade in program to the T-Series Macros Model 1's.
The Macro 10X is the original. It comes in M-Series for older phones and T-Series for 2023 and newer models. It's typically tailored to stationary subjects — you can shoot from about an inch away, giving you the absolute maximum magnification on a phone.
Macro photography can be technically demanding. Because you’re so close, small hand movements, shadows, and limited light can get in the way, but the included hood softens harsh highlights and blocks your phone’s shadow so you keep the detail sharp and clean.
The Macro 10x lens turns your phone into a pocket microscope. Built for extreme close-ups, it’s perfect for capturing textures, insects, or anything tiny. Unlike your phone’s “macro mode”, this lens uses real glass to deliver a crisp focus with natural blur and depth. It’s made for creatives who want to go deeper, not just closer.
Which Lens is Right for You?
- T-Series: Designed for newer phones (iPhone 14 / Pixel 7 and later)
- M-Series: For older phones (iPhone 13 / Pixel 6 and earlier)
- Both versions require a Moment Camera Case with a drop-in lens mount to work.
The 75mm feels more like a traditional macro lens. Your working distance stretches to around three or four inches, so skittish subjects— bees on a petal, a quick lizard — stay comfortably away and unbothered. The frame shows a bit more scene for context while still nailing a good amount of detail, which makes it a favorite for product photos or wildlife that needs room to breathe.
A huge upside of the 75mm macro lens is that the front threads accept 67mm filters with the 67mm filter adapter, so you can pop on a CineBloom to mellow harsh sun or a variable ND to manage bright daylight.
The Macro 75mm lens brings the world of macro photography to your phone. It’s designed to capture rich detail from about 4-6 inches away from your subject, giving you a more cinematic depth of field and a more natural , layered falloff of focus that feels more like a real camera lens than a mobile add-on. Where your phone’s macro mode relies on software tricks, this lens offers true optical character that feels more intentional and less automatic.
