1. Everything Tote 19L

Best for: Minimal everyday use with lots of space

This is Moment’s signature tote with just enough space to hold your camera in the 4L camera insert, or diapers and extra clothes if you’ve got little ones. The material resists pet hair and crumbs (thank goodness), which comes in handy on long road trips or daily adventures. Inside, there are multiple slip pockets and an optional strap so you can wear it cross-body. Cute enough for the coffee shop, durable enough for the plane, and roomy enough to turn into a camera bag if you want. My favorite part is its sturdy bottom layer, so you can set it down and walk away without worrying about it flopping over with your precious gear.

Pros: Super sleek, ample space for storage, and the go-to pick for... literally everything.

2. Beacon Tote

Best for: Casual adventures & film shooters.

Long Weekend’s brainchild, Willem Verbeeck, needed more space than a sling, but without the bulk or weight of a backpack, so he crafted the Beacon Tote. It’s a nod to retro vibes with a modular interior, perfectly tailored for film photographers in mind (hence the extra small pockets for film rolls!) Inside, you’ll find a variety of small and large pockets, carries a 16" laptop, and the exterior sports the same Santa Fe–style Long Weekend branding.

Pros: Retro aesthetic meets modularity. Weatherproof, and just the right size for the daily trail walks.

3. Peak Design Packable Tote

Best for: Those who like to pack it tight.

Imagine having a tote that’s entirely packable in case you want to switch bags on your next vacation — this bad boy is it. It’s a fully unstructured, zippable catch-all, a mini padded shoulder/hand strap, and a bulletproof nylon shell constructed from a single piece of fabric. Once in use, you can zip it up to keep the outdoor elements out. Not quite as durable or rugged as the others; I personally prefer a structured tote for most daily outings, but this is perfect for groceries at the farmers market or clothes for an overnight sleepover for just $20.

Pros: Super light you can pack it down to the size of a deck of cards.

4. Peak Design Everyday Totepack 20L

Best for: Sleek outfitters.

To really show off what Peak Design is capable of, we had to include a more structured, proper tote from them too. The Packable 20L beauty is a premium-feeling, backpack-style tote (is that a thing?) kind of like the Moment Everything Tote, but for your back. It carries slightly more than others on this list at 20L and features durable FlexFold dividers. You can pack a Fujifilm X-T5 with a 50mm lens attached, a Patagonia rain shell, headphones, smaller essentials, and a hard drive no problem. Stretchy interior pockets are great for small items like batteries or SD cards, and there’s a protective 15” laptop sleeve in the rear pocket, along with additional tablet sleeves.

Pros: Back-wearing tote for those who needs to larger carry option.

5. Peak Design Everyday Tote 15L

Best for: Commuting or workdays

Yet another Peak Design tote on the list, are you surprised? It's because if you dig one bag, you'll dig 'em all. This 15L is slighter smaller than the other structured shoulder bags on this list but sports same durable Nylon material that you'll find on Peak's other best-sellers. It's got an extra-wide top access point seal via magnetic clasp with a weatherproof zip. Inside, it sports those same FlexFold dividers to give you that customizable and protective storage you'll need for camera gear.

Pros: It's modular and super structured, giving that premium feeling.

6. WANDRD Tote Backpack

Best For: Those who think backpacks are too much.

It's a tote, it's a backpack, it's — both. Plus, it's a great carry option for those who like fewer pockets with double the carry options. Crafted with bombproof materials and a roll-up top like the other classic WANDRD camera backpacks, you can pack it light or stuff it with camera gear and a 16" laptop. It offers customizable folds and sits easily on the back of your torso for easy walking along the streets or trails.

Pros: Both a tote and a backpack.

Langly is the brand made for creators — this tote pack sports weatherproof materials, tons of intentional pockets with padded protection, and a sleek profile that matches anyone's outfit. The Bravo Shoulder Bag is specifically designed for the photographer or content creators in mind with its nifty size capable of holding a mirrorless camera body with 2 lenses. You can even keep it as a messenger bag with removable inserts and bring it to meetings with your laptop.

Pros: Lightweight, sleek, carries a great daily camera setup.

8.Navigator Collapsible Tote 28L

Best for: Farmer's markets or lighter travel.

This collapsible, simple tote from Nomatic is for the minimalist who wants a durable yet straightforward, unstructured bag to carry the goods. It's an affordable, no-frills design with a luggage pass-through strap for airport travel. The 28L means you can have everything under the sun while keeping it neatly compact as your go-to carry-on. Plus, you can cinch the bag to the size of a small book and stuff it in your backpack to grab later.

Pros: Large to pack out, small to stow away.
