Main Compartment
Here’s where I have a little more to say. The sample I tested had two main sections, and I’m told the final will go to one. I actually preferred the two. It kept small EDC stuff separate from bulkier items, and I could open just one side for a quick grab without dumping the whole bag open.
That said, the current layout still works. You get three stretch mesh pockets for the little things — AirPods, lip balm, a spare battery — and a padded slip that’s great for your phone. The padding isn’t thick, but it keeps the screen from rubbing against keys or cables. There’s also a key leash, which I appreciate, but it’s a bit short; a couple extra inches would make unlocking a door without unclipping much easier.
The zippers are excellent. The pulls are big and easy to catch with one hand, which sounds minor until you’re moving fast and want to get in and out without thinking.
Back Zip Pocket
Flip the bag over and there’s a hidden zip pocket; easily one of the smartest features here. It’s low-profile and sits flat against your body, so it’s great for cash, a passport, or travel docs you don’t want on display. And it’s a real zip pocket, not just a sleeve, so nothing sneaks out. In a crowd or at the airport, you can stash the important stuff back there, forget about it, and get on with your day.
