What Is A Variable ND Filter
Neutral Density filters are like sunglasses for your camera lens. They block light from coming in, allowing you to adjust shutter speed and better control your shots. A variable ND allows you to adjust the strength of the filter by rotating the filter ring.
With the filter — buttery smooth with dynamic range for cinematic motion
Without the filter — choppy with unbalanced exposure
Using two layers of glass and a mechanical rotating mechanism, it can block more or less light from coming into the camera depending how far you rotate it. This way, instead of carrying around multiple filters for different lighting conditions, you can carry just one and adjust for your specific shot.

What Makes Our VND Filters Unique
Premium Glass
We chose premium Fused Silica Glass to maintain maximum optical quality, creating crisp images and reduced weight.
Precise Control
Precision laser-etched markings allow you to see which stop you’re shooting so you can quickly set up on fast-paced shoots. This eliminates guessing and helps you dial in your shots based on the lighting conditions at hand.
Zero Cross Polarization
We specifically engineered the rotation of the filter to have hard stops at both ends of the working range, preventing unwanted cross-polarization.
Airlight for Flight
We designed the filter body to remove as much material as possible for less weight and less stress on the drone gimbal. Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, these filters are featherlight yet rugged enough for serious adventure. Specifically designed for the mounting interface on the Mavic Air 2, these filters attach easily and securely for trusted performance in any flying conditions.
Premium Quality
This filter is built with top-quality glass and advanced optical coatings for crisp cinematic footage. Designed specifically for the DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone, its laser-etched, machined aluminum housing is optimized to be as light as possible for peak gimbal performance. Built-in stops prevent any unwanted cross-polarization for the best possible image quality from a variable ND.
