Description

The Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD is a 25.5-105mm-equivalent lens for APS-C-format mirrorless cameras, with a variable zoom range and a brilliant design. The wide-to-short-tele range is great for everyday shooting, and the fast f/2.8 constant maximum aperture is ideal for working in low-light situations and provides better depth-of-field control. A set of specialized optics, including aspherical and low dispersion components, complement this design, resulting in well-corrected imagery with exceptional sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy. Tamron's BBAR coating lowers flare and ghosting for enhanced contrast when operating in backlighting and harsh lighting environments.

The 17-70mm F2.8 maintains its large F2.8 maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range (unlike variable aperture lenses that darken as you zoom). Thanks to F2.8 and high optical performance, 17-70mm F2.8 allows you to capture your subjects with clear details from wide angle to telephoto.

Structurally, the optical formula includes 16 elements in 12 groups.
