Variable ND Filters

Variable ND Filters
The Moment VND gives you more control with a clean, consistent look. Built with dual layers of precision-aligned cinema glass, it reduces light evenly without introducing color shift, vignetting, or cross-polarization. Each stop range is fixed and precisely machined, with ND positions aligned at exact angles to deliver accurate, repeatable exposure control. You get smooth motion blur, natural rolloff, and the ability to shoot wide open in bright conditions — all without sacrificing sharpness or contrast.
Designed for going places, the VND features our unique Viewfinder-Visible Stops, so you always know where you are in the range — no guesswork, no checking between shots. A subtle detent at the end of rotation gives tactile feedback when you've hit your limit. Housed in a lightweight, machined aluminum frame with built-in hard stops and a laser-etched Control Dial, the Moment red anodized ring stands out on your rig and holds up in the field. Available in 2–5 and 6–9 stop versions to cover every lighting condition.

By letting in less light through the lens, you can slow down your shutter to create longer exposures in broad daylight.

What Makes Our VND Filters Unique
These filters are built with top-quality glass and advanced optical coatings for crisp cinematic footage. Designed to be used with premium camera lenses, their laser etched, machined aluminum housings allow you to easily see and control your ND range. Built-in stops prevent any unwanted cross polarization for the best possible image quality and precise adjustments.
Premium Glass
We chose Schott B270 Pro Cinema Glass to maintain maximum optical quality and create crisp images.
Precise Control
Our unique geometry and laser-etched graphics allow you to see which stop you’re shooting from behind the viewfinder. This allows for faster control and easy starting points for your shots in different lighting conditions.
Zero Cross Polarization
We specifically engineered the rotation of the filter to have hard stops at both ends of the working range, preventing unwanted cross polarization.
Aerospace Grade Metal
The filter metal is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum for lightweight performance and rugged durability.
