The Moment Universal Mobile Grip is the Swiss Army Knife of rig handles - lightweight, strong, adjustable, and affordable. These grips feature vertical adjustment (up and down), and 360° angle adjustment (full tilt rotation), so you can mount it as a side or top handle. The grips include a rubber pad to make holding your rig easier and a cold shoe top mount for adding a mini light or mic to your setup. These grips will connect to any cage with 3/8”-16 female threads at standard 9mm hole distances, enabling them to attach to any cage that relies on this open standard. Each handle has the option to add a wireless shutter module. Simply pair the shutter to your phone via bluetooth and you have the ability to press record or snap photos without taking your hand off the grip or touching your phones screen. 

Features

• Two Types - you can pick up this grip with a Bluetooth wireless shutter or without one.
• Strong & Light Weight - Machined metal alloy unibody and coated rubber grip to make holding your rig easy and secure.
• 3/8”-16 Thread Mount - works with any phone cage that has a 3/8”-16 female threads with 9mm hole distances. Includes anti twist locating pin to prevent vibration and deflection.
• NATO Thread Mount - works with standard NATO rail profiles using a thumb-screw tightening bolt.
• Fully Adjustable - Vertical position with 2.2"/55mm of carry while balancing the center of gravity. 360° rotation allows for a more optimal hand position, and the ability to move from side to top handle.
• Built-In Cold Shoe - allows you to add additional accessories like a mic or light. Includes a anti-off pin.

Great Concept, but Falls Short in Execution

While I haven’t fully tested it yet, the design of the handles looks very promising. I particularly appreciate the ability to press the touch button to take a picture, as it allows me to position my hands between the cage and handle without my fingers appearing in every shot—a crucial feature for someone with limited hand mobility. However, there are significant drawbacks. The magnet of the MagSafe cage does not securely hold the phone as advertised; even a small shake dislodges it. Additionally, the Moment case doesn’t fit properly, raising concerns that the phone could shatter. Overall, a great idea with poor execution.

Good quality

Good quality, comfortable to hold in hand. You can adjust the angle of inclination, and also move the holder up. A small minus that I noticed - the upper plug on the hot shoe sometimes comes out from a little accidental pressure.

Grips

Very solid build. Easy to grip. If you have purchased a cage, I would highly recommend these. Especially when using a Fisheye. Fisheye requires more stability. The Fisheye works well standing still, With the cage and grips, you footage will be less bouncy. There is another version of these that attach different as well.
