KYNA Media Films

Kyndra Kennedy & Kenneth Cuadrado are the owners of North Hollywood-based video production company KYNA MEDIA FILMS (pronounced Kenna). As minority filmmakers, they recognize their responsibility in telling stories that represent and amplify the voices of underrepresented people and communities.

KYNA MEDIA is most proud of their award-winning short films that encouraged them to keep creating. "GEMS" was the first film they submitted to any competition and it was awarded "Best Female Filmmaker," a major award in the world's largest short film competition, My RØDE Reel by RØDE Microphones in 2018. Their futurist sci-fi dramas, "Therefore I Am" and "Of Salt and Sand" won MIFF 2019 and 2020. And most recently their social justice film "Black.Matters" won in the 2020 Musicbed Reopen Challenge and My RØDE Reel.

KYNA MEDIA is dedicated and committed to continuing their filmmaking adventure through the creation of more ground-breaking, bar-raising, and down-right fun-loving video production.
