Our QuickLock™ Variable ND (VND) filter gives you the precise exposure control your need to create a moody, cinematic feel with natural motion blur, smooth transitions, and soft depth. It brings a moody, cinematic feel to bright scenes, making your shots look more crafted and less digital.
The low-profile Control Dial makes fine adjustments fast and tactile, while built-in stops prevent cross-polarization for a smoother, more cinematic result. Unlike most mobile VNDs, ours delivers contrast-rich footage with no color shift so skin tones stay natural and blacks stay deep. It features our QuickLock™ mount system for fast and secure mounting to Moment Cases.
Compatibility: Requires a matching Moment Camera Case plus the matching Drop-In Lens Mount or Bezel Trim Ring for your exact phone. QuickLock filters are model-specific and not cross-compatible across generations (iPhone 15/16 ≠ 17 ≠ 18) or when Pro vs Pro Max sizing differs. Choose the variant built for your phone — SKUs on this page cover iPhone 15, 16, 17, and 18 Pro / Pro Max. A QuickLock made for an older Drop-In will not lock onto a newer Drop-In or case.

Surprisingly this case feels good to hold in my hands for an extended period when i'm walking around and taking photos. I did not have to change my privacy screen- was worried it peel it off-and that the button covers would not work. But it all worked out, and i'm really happy with the phone case. Excited to purchase the Macro lens to see it's quality.
A super cool and useful addition to phone photography and video
The quality of the VND is in it’s own look league. The filter attachment snaps in place with a satisfying click and holds on to the case very tight. The dial shows the stops in clear letters and allows for easy adjustment
The Moment QuickLock VND is THE most sleek and minimal design in its category. It’s not even a competition. Amazing design. ⭐️Pocketable ⭐️Minimal colour cast ⭐️No X pattern I’ve had a look at other VNDs for mobile (Polar Pro, Sandmarc, K&F) and all other designs are SUPER bulky. 🚧The only improvement I’d make is that it doesn’t have a cover for the VND glass (aka a lens cap) so when you pocket it/out it in your edc bag, I can see it scratching and smudging. I know the iPhone native lenses don’t have them but they’re super scratch resistant. Would love a pop-on lens cap. Other than that, crazy good value! An absolute must. Hoping we can get an ND/Cinebloom hybrid. Arrived late but the team was great at responding over the busy pre-sale period 👍🏽 I treat companies / suppliers as if I had a friend working there — I wouldn’t hound them or complain that I didn’t get my order before Christmas. Instead give them grace, they’re a relatively small team despite running a big name brand in the industry! 🙌🏽

I absolutely love this thing. By no means am I a pro or anything but I do see much better quality in the photos I take at the worse sun times possible. Its an extra tool that helps along the way. I have not seen any issues with it around the edges or having dust in between the lenses. The only problem I had which then was resolved immediately by Moment was that the front glass fell out.
I use the filter on my iPhone 17 pro max and I’m happy with the results. My only concern is that the filter does not feel secure. I’m afraid if I bump the filter against anything it could fall off. Not a deal breaker for me, but something I’m mindful of.
I was skeptical about using a filter before buying this product, I didn’t think it would make much of a difference, but boy was I wrong! Clear difference from having a regular camera. Very impressed.
What I like most about the VND filter is how simple and practical it is to use. The image quality is excellent, and it is very helpful in situations where you have no control over natural light.

The VND QuickLock Filter is very easy to attach and adjust. It feels well made, stays securely in place, and makes it much easier to control exposure when shooting video outdoors. The image quality remains clear, and the compact design is convenient to carry. Overall, I am very satisfied with it.

This product is genuinely fantastic, allows you to shoot in 24 fps 180° shutter in broad daylight, without completely blowing out your image. The only problem is there is some cross vignetting at the highest stops of ND so that’s something to consider. I would recommend it to anyone but just know that you will usually use it at the first 2 stops and not much above that.
Easy to use, I love it because it is so small.
other VNDs require an clamp or set up that is too big to fit in pocket this gets you both the convenience to get up to 7 stops of ND and the pocket ability to bring with you everywhere !
The filter does it’s job but I’d make the following improvenments: make a stronger visual difference to the other Moment filters so it’s easier to select from a case, make the printed fonts bigger so I can read them, make the manufacturing tolerances of the filter and case smaller so it is easy to clip on, make the carry case as small as possible instead of the big round thing.
Great for on the go filming. I bought this before, but I lost it recently! I knew I needed to get it again because of the amount of times I’ve used it
Like all of my other experiences with moment, the VND was shipped promptly and received within 10 days. I love that these filters are so easy to switch in and out. Perfect for shots that are too bright.

Having switched to recording log on my phone recording golfin direct sun was nothing short of a pain. Over exposed shots everytime but I came across moment and since the first use I regret not buying it sooner!
When the quicklock filter was released by Moment, I took notice and paid attention to the space. I had the Moment case already to pair with lenses, but didn’t like the weight of the adaptor + larger ND Filter I was using with my case. This version was well received online, I watched YouTube reviews and my initial experiences align with theirs. No notes, and good stuff as always. The thing about Moment, is once you start investing in their mobile tools, it’s hard start over with someone else. That’s okay, because they produce goods that add value.
The quicklock works excellent
I love this , but it covers some of the camera on the side. I think this is better in Pro Max but not the pro! Still like it but not love it!
This is my most recent addition when it comes to my moment cases and once again didn’t disappoint. The build feels great and the buttons feel nice and tactile the case has now saved my phone multiple times. My only con that I have with this case is just that I wish the MagSafe was stronger but that’s nothing a MagSafe sticker can’t fix to make it stronger.
