The Moment Tele 58mm Mobile Lens is easily one of the best upgrades I’ve added to my mobile photography setup. The build quality feels premium and solid, and the glass delivers sharp, crystal-clear images with impressive detail. What really stands out for me is the natural compression and reach it gives. Shooting with my iPhone 16, I didn’t have to rely on digital zoom at all. The lens brings subjects closer without sacrificing image quality. This makes a huge difference, especially for portraits and video work where clarity matters. I’ve also used it for a few video projects and the results are clean and professional-looking. The depth and perspective it adds make mobile footage feel more cinematic.
I love how the lens keeps images accurate to how the subject is in person. Without the lens the subject is distorted at certain focal points or angles. I appreciate Moment for making such high quality products. Excellent for outdoor portrait shoots!
I received my lens just before my train tour of Alaska. The 58mm Tele lens has been amazing! On a float through a glacier lake, I was able to effectively shoot longer shots with detail that would have been lost if I didn’t have this lens…and there are many other examples of the usefulness of this lens that I could provide. The camera case/mounting device worked well, and over the trip I have mounted and removed the lens many times without any problems. Lastly, it is a GREAT conversation starter with people wanting to know more about the thing I have hanging on my phone. I’m very happy with the lens/App system I bought! Ps: I also recommend an Alaska train tour!
This review is for the Moment 58mm T-Series Telephoto Lens, used with a Google Pixel 9 Pro. I can't speak to its performance on iPhones or Samsung phones, but my experience with the Pixel 9 Pro was disappointing. Image Sharpness: I found that photos taken with the lens were noticeably softer than those captured using the phone's built-in 2x digital zoom. This loss of sharpness was consistent from the center to the edges of the frame. Bokeh: The background blur, or bokeh, was not pleasing. It had a 'double vision' effect that was distracting and didn't create a smooth, appealing blur.
I love the ease of this lens and the results out of the box just playing was awesome. Love working with video options also. Clarity is amazing!

Roughly a 2X optical zoom may not sound impressive, but the weakest optical zoom is better than the best digital zoom, whatever your resolution is. Throw in some swirly, Lensbaby-esque bokeh and there's your Bag of Chips for your All That.

Color is not so good. Don´t see why. Camera gives terrific result. With max zoom on Galaxy S9+ sharpness is mediocre.

I dont know whether my lens have a defect or just it is what it is. My main concern is that it captured my subject out of focus on the first grid (rule of third) of my camera. I always have to place my subject starting from the middle but still not better. I'm a bit distracted the way it blurs some parts of my face especially on the eyes. I don't know why.
