CineBloom Diffusion Filters

Save 40%
Sale price$36.00 USD Regular price$60.00 USD

Device: 37mm
Diffusion: 5%

Our CineBloom Diffusion Filter gives your digital camera the look and feel of film. Its unique character softens harsh digital detail, blooms highlights, and wraps your image in a dreamy, cinematic glow — all without sacrificing sharpness or color accuracy.

CineBloom is our custom diffusion recipe: a specific particle blend that’s sandwiched between two layers of HD optical glass and protected by a water-, grease-, and dirt-resistant coating. Powered by our Moment Filter Formula and available in 5%, 10%, and 20% strengths, it delivers that unmistakable filmic softness — straight out of camera.

Finished with a lightweight aluminum frame and knurled grip, it screws on easily and stacks cleanly under ND or VND filters. No plastic, no gimmicks — just a timeless look you can rely on.

Features

• Cinematic Character: Adds soft halation and highlight bloom for a natural, film-like glow
• Takes the Edge Off: Smooths skin tones and reduces digital sharpness without sacrificing clarity

• Stacks with ND Filters: Designed to layer under ND or VND filters without getting stuck
• Knurled Grip Frame: Machined aluminum ring makes it easy to grip and remove in the field
• Standard Thread Sizes: Compatible with 37–82mm camera lenses and standard lens caps
• Lifetime Guarantee: Covered by Moment’s no-hassle warranty for long-term confidence

the cinebloom character

premium japanese glass

We start with high-quality Japanese optical glass to maintain sharpness and accurate color — the foundation for CineBloom’s dreamy but clean look.

nanoblack diffusion layer

A fused microlayer of etched NanoBlack particles blooms light, softens contrast, and creates that subtle halation you’d expect from vintage film lenses.

uncoated for maximum bloom

Unlike most filters, CineBloom is intentionally uncoated to maximize the strength of the glow and preserve its soft, organic character.

works with cameras + phones

Our CPL filters work with standard camera lens thread sizes. If you want to shoot with these filters on your phone you will need our 67mm Filter Mount. To put a CPL on your Moment Lens you will need our67mm Lens Filter Mount.

Available in 5%, 10%, and 20%, so you can choose a subtle haze or a bold cinematic glow to match the mood of your shot.

GETTING STARTED GUIDE

WHY MOMENT FILTERS

The Right Glass

Engineered for the Details

Unique Character

Easy to Grip & Stack

Each filter uses the right glass for the character you need. UV filters that are clear, CPLs that reflect, VNDs that don’t mess with your shot…even CineBloom, with glass that responds to our unique coatings.

We obsess over every detail. Years of refinement mean smoother rotations, firmer stops, and ongoing improvements because our quest for a better filter never ends.

We created a proprietary formula to get the right look for each of our filters. our classic filters – UV, CPL, VND – give you a crisp look that doesn’t get in the way. our specialty filters – CineBloom, CineBloom VND, CineFlare – provide a unique character you can’t find anywhere else.

We want our filters to be easier to use, no matter the conditions. easy to stack multiple filters, easy grip and rotate, and even easy to use with standard lens caps. Using a filter shouldn’t be hard.

This filter is so dreamy!

I’m absolutely obsessed with this filters halation effect. It makes the sun look so beautiful around people and scenery without making things too hazy. I was worried 20% would be a bit too much but the dreamy effect is just right! You’re able to still keep images beautifully sharp, while giving subjects a bit of a more dreamy look. I’ve been so impressed and look forward to trying other moment filters.

Beautiful Vintage Character and Excellent Build Quality!

Both the 10% and 20% CineBloom VNDs are excellent! I've been using mist filters for many years now and the CineBloom highlight bloom effect is by far the most beautiful and unique in terms of character! I pair these with my vintage lenses and it helps me create images that are truly something special! These filters are really the best of both worlds with the bloom effect and VND combined into one, no longer do I have to stack filters, I have everything I need in one high-quality filter! I highly recommend these filters to anyone wanting to create images that stand out above the rest!

Love it more than expected!

For my daily walk around camera this provides a more filmic look glaring highlights without giving up too much grain or sharpness to my eye. I’ll probably grab a couple more for other lenses!

Nice filter, bad thread

The filter has a nice non-digital film effect but the thread makes it hard to screw on and off my lens. I thought I had broken the filter as I heard a crack when unscrewing it but I think it just struggles to align with the metal thread on my lens. Not the first one to point this out.

Hey Jonathan! Thanks for the review and sorry to hear about the issue. We're going to reach out to you via e-mail asking for some pictures of the faulty thread! Szabi - Gear Guide

Makes me not hate my digital photos

I made some photos with my canon m50 with yongnuo 50mm 1.8 (75mm ff equiv)
(no editing because I unsubscribed from Adobe) and not film because I'm broke, but all that aside I liked how my digital photos came out, diffusion filters are so sick! I only shoot film recently but this filter drastically improved my perception of my digital photos.

I also shot some video with this filter on the same lens and it's pretty cool!

My photos blew out and that's what I wanted

Admittedly I got a bit excited when I ordered the 20% strength, I probs should have gotten the 10% because man the lighting gets blown was out with massive amounts of halation. But I'm not even mad, the effect is really gorgeous. Paired with some Kodachrome recipes in my Fuji XT3 I am getting as close as I can to a classic film look. I'll probably be buying the 10% at some point for more low key bloom though, because during the day or bright scenes the bloom can get in the way of the overall image.

CineBloom? CineBOOM!

Definitely made my highlights diffuse and pretty as heck! I didn't really know if I *needed* this filter, or what I'd even do with it, but I took it to this dog shoot I set up, and I'm pretty happy with the results!

Happy

At this point in time only used during daytime and very happy. 10% filter seems not to effect AF but have the impression it makes auto iso a bit difficult. Not a big issue, as long as you know it or don't use auto iso.

A great addition

Adds that dreamy look to your photos and videos. Definitely removes that phone camera look and makes your footage look a lot more professional

good filter for soft glow

The 10% filter gives a nice subtle glow to images. If you're looking for something more overt, maybe go with the 20%, but I like slight mistiness it gives to lights without becoming being so bold.
