Perfect Dash Companion

My van's dash has a funny angle, but this mount provides a great adjustable head and a strong adhesion to the dash. Would buy this for any vehicle I have!

It's fantastic - strong magsafe,

It's fantastic - strong magsafe, adjustable direction, and clean and minimal, it looks like a part of the car. Like with any magsafe mount, if you go over a nasty bump or pothole, it can bounce off - but that's not often at all and not a knock on this mount because it would happen with any magsafe mount.

I cannot get the holder

I cannot get the holder to stick anywhere on my dashboard, and yes, I took off the covering.

Misleading

This thing is worthless for anything beyond holding the phone in one place.

Doesn't work in my car.

The product itself is well constructed and solid. The magnetic connection to the case is strong and secure. The only issue I found is that the base of the unit is flat and there are no flat surfaces on my dash so it won't work in my car. This is disappointing as I really wanted it to work.

Conflicted?

So I had worries about the adhesive because of the other reviews but according to them Moment will fix that problem for you (and even if the adhesive were to fail in the future, it is very easily replaceable). I opened it up and tried 'installing' this on my Honda Fit's dash, and this thing is not made for a Honda Fit at all. If it had more swivel, more of an angle to customize, then it would have worked perfectly. I decided that maybe instead of going through the pain of returning it, that I would mount this thing vertically instead (beside my CarPlay screen). It worked. Did a little test drive over some big bumps and it's holding well, even though iPhones are quite heavy now.

Because of the lack of swivel and a weak angle, I can't say I'm 100% in love with this thing. However, I do love how unbelievably sleek and simple it is, and the MagSafe magnet is strong.

So I'm happy with where I put the mount, but hopefully it stays stuck. Can't fault them for that, though, as I decided to place it in an unconventional spot. If it fails, I'll buy another adhesive. If you have a Honda Fit, maybe go for the vent mount, but it looks super clean where it is right now. I think I will be buying more Moment products in the future.

Weak Magnet

I bought the phone case orignally thinking the metal plate embedded would be fairly large and thick but it did not work well with my old magnet. So figured it would work well with the matching Dash Car Mount. Its still weak. If your using it on a desk at work its great. As for in the vehicle the magnet is very very weak. The price does not equate to quality here. I would not recommend. Returning the mount and note you have to cover shipping on returns

would be only compatible with other MagSafe-compatible accessories and
not regular older magnetic accessories which aren't

Excellent Customer Service

I loved this dash mount the moment (pun?) I put it on my car. Almost everything about it was perfect... However, like others have mentioned my model shipped with faulty 3M adhesive. Moment's customer service was incredibly quick to respond and facilitate a replacement that works as intended!

3M problem

My 3M sticker was not glued to the plastic dashboard of the car. Because there was no glue on them.

Very nice minimalist design

The default 3M VHA pad is not strong enough to hold the mount on my mode y dash. I had to peer it off and replaced it with other sticky pad.
