Learned Lots

It was a bit Moment ad-heavy, but I got a lot out of this and really feel like I can do a whole lot on my phone with the right equipment.

Food for thought

If you aren’t using your phone for video by now this course explores how you can get over yourself without being bogged down in technicality. Hard to be brief, concise and easy to grasp but the team at moment had better plans than what I expected. The moment iPhone app is solid. Just don’t forget to get into your phone app settings before you shoot. I forgot to add stabilization (thought it wouldn’t be deactivated automatically).

A bit lacking

I'm sure this would be great for an intermediate level student. This did not seem like a beginner class to me. As a teacher, I see a lot of room for breaking the information down into smaller segments. Moment's definition of beginner class level 1 is way different than mine.

Great intro for n00bs

As a beginner, this was a friendly way to be introduced to capturing better videos on your phone. And, to be honest, just using your phone more intelligently.I just recently upgraded to my iPhone 13 pro, and wanted to spend a bit more time learning it. I found that "just slap the tele on" wasn't working as well any more with the default iPhone camera app, and, I've been curious about upping my photography game overall. This workshop basically got me much, much more comfortable with capturing video using the Moment Pro Camera app. Once you get comfy, you start to experiment. And then you start to see the forest from the trees a bit, which creates a virtuous cycle.

Great Basics for Beginner.

As a beginner, this lesson had a lot of tips that help you get started shooting video on a Phone. I found the sections on Lens and Adobe Rush sections extra helpful.
