Can't go wrong with Moment stuffs
I was very happy with the product. It’s fast and convenient for someone like me always making very low budget DIY short films. the lenses I purchased help give my guerrilla film making style a more professional and high quality look.
Finally got my 13 Pro lens mount and paired it with my Moment Tele lens, but the fit seemed too tight. I really hard to twist hard. The inside of the lens mount seemed to start shaving off as well. However, I emailed Moment and they said there will be some variance and that the shaving off of the lens mount is normal.
Hey Chun! Thanks for leaving a review! When you first put the lens on, it shaves off some plastic from the mount. This is totally normal. This is the way the lens and the mount conform to each other. Szabi - Gear Guide
This was a warranty replacement for the original mount that was too thick and would not allow the lens to fully rotate to the “locked” position, and ended up cracked. I had hoped that the thickness issue had been addressed on the replacement mount but it is exactly the same problem. As you rotate the lens the material builds up, and the rotation is about 10% of what it should be. As I only have the macro lens, I actually don’t know if the problem is the dimensions of the lens or the mount. I carefully scraped the excess plastic away and now the mount functions correctly and fully locks my macro lens in place. (The lens is amazing and I am enjoying using it.)
Moment: Your quality control and engineering need to get together on this one, your dimensions are off.
Hey Phil! Thanks for leaving a review! There is enough of a variance in the plastic of the case and the metal of the lens that every lens/case will feel different. Some are a little looser but still feel very snug and won’t shave any plastic. In your scenario, it sounds like it is much tighter and is causing a small amount of plastic to shave off when you try to you attach it. Don’t worry, this is normal and is to be expected. Used the lens just over 1 weekend and the center broke. This piece need to be stamped metal just like any lens mounts from any camera. You'll need to carry a few with you at all times.

It's a nice utility piece and definitely needed if you want to use any of the lenses, but being made of plastic just makes it feel less premium compared to the rest. Otherwise it gets the job done and that's what matters.

Within a few days of having this, I dropped my phone and the mount broke. It was a pretty normal drop, so I was surprised that it broke. They seem to account for this since they give you 2, but I was surprised at how easy it broke. I think everything else Moment needs is variable constructed, but I wish the build up these for a little more durable.
Hey Daniel! Thanks for the rating! Drops can be unpredictable and certain angles and impact points can put a lot of stress on the material and cause damage. We understand how frustrating it is, especially when it happens during what feels like a normal drop. :)
마운트 자체는 좋아요. 하지만 전용 케이스에만 활용할 수 있다는 게 아쉬워요. 전용케이스 종류가 많은 것도 아니고, 얇은 디자인이 있는 것도 아니어서요.

Just got this to replace the stock ring that was really banged up. Really looking forward to grabbing some lenses to see how they stack up against others.
First I ordered the wrong one but you were so good to send the replacement. The only thing was that I was not able to get that second ring in. Hope that is ok. I love my lenses

These are great. Lightweight, but not very sturdy. I do have a workaround. If you put clear nail polish on them it provides a bit more strength.
