CineClear Snap-On Filter for iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max

Second time buying this. It does take some getting used to snapping on but once you know how to it works well. Protects the phone lenses while allowing camera to be used. Original one had become a bit cloudy over 2 years probably due to degradation of coating on lens but it never got scratched.

The filter itself is really nice and I have not noticed any impact on photo quality. I bought primarily to minimize the amount of times I need to carefully clean the camera lens -- it's much easier to clean single flat pane, and secondly as a camera lens protector. So, this filter is great as a protective cover, but only if you plan to NEVER take off.

I had read the other reviews discussing how difficult it is to take the filter off and understood that it wasn't really a "on-the-move" type of switch. However, I figured that that would be okay for my use case because I only have specific times when I want to remove the filter (e. g. to mount a lens), and so before such outings I can sit down and remove the filter. However, even after sitting down, I could not remove the filter! The instructions say to use a credit card or a soft object to lever the tab up -- I have torn up the edges of two fairly stiff credit cards trying to lever the tab up. I was only able to finally remove by borrowing a friend's fairly thick electronics tweezers (a jewelry flathead screwdriver would probably also work) to get the filter off.

Since this is a super common complaint, I'd really appreciate if Moment could take a second look at this design. Would love to be able to take this filter on and off easily (at home) or even on the move (eg while shooting). Feels like it could be resolved or at least alleviated by e. g. making a longer tab or design some sort of slide-on-snap-secure mechanism.

After two years of daily use. Took a fall while bushwhacking a steep mountainside in Wyoming. This filter took the damage but saved my phone. Totally worth it.

Although this is not my first CineClear Protection Filter, it is a must-in-a-moment case. Although it is not very easy to put the protection filter on, it is also not easy to fall out. This is highly recommended if you need a camera lens protector and a bonus with the filter effect. I hope they come out with something to 100% solve the default iPhone lighting issue and a better removable lens solution.

Fits on the case perfectly. It is not at all loose. Combine it with the moment case and any lanyard and you have a great, portable, street photography setup. You can use your left hand index finger under the filter to more easily hold the camera steady and secure in landscape orientation.Triggering the onscreen shutter with the right hand.

Great addition. So far great results.

I purchased this filter to use with the Moment lens mount on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Although the filter instructions indicate that it can be used with the lens mount it’s not clear as to how to install both of them to work together. No videos available. I’ve also bought two Moment lenses. It looks like I’ve just wasted my money.

I contacted Moment support 3 days ago & have had no response - very frustrating. I would not recommend this company at all.

Grassy high quality glass, super easy to attach to the case, provides awesome protection. Can’t even tell it’s there in pictures and videos, very pleased with the design overall.

I thought it was on tight, but it popped off several times. It has now been lost as I wasn’t aware when it popped off.

Very low quality item with flawed design. Gently and slowly tried to mount the filter, apparently that was enough to cause micro cracks, which once mounted immediately cracked the glass. The pattern of cracking was quite clearly rooted from the mounting points (see picture). With this sort of snap on mount mixing metal and glass that are intended to go under tension, a ribber seal or grommet of some type should separate the two materials. Basic property of glass is that it is doesn’t like being pressed on by metal. Fortunately I had ordered a second filter after reading the poor reviews. Second one has substantial scratching with one day of use going in and out of soft cotton pants pocket. Unusable. Cannot recommend this product. Last major drawback is that it is not cross compatible/mountable over t-lens mount to make it simply to use either system. ><

It looks better in real life. It protects the lenses and gives a premium look to the case.

There is a white dot on the glass near one edge I can't seem to clean off. I positioned out of the lens view but I wish it wasn't there.

Seems to work fine to keep dust and scratches off of lenses, but when I dropped my phone it completely shattered.

I purchased this to protect the lens on my new 15 Pro Max, and it does a great job. The coverage is great, and my photos don't show any sign of having the filter on the iPhone.

I cannot figure out how to attach this. The directions are not concise and I cannot find a video to help. Apparently this is an issue for many customers based on reviews I’ve read. Not user friendly.

Filter is very low profile and barely noticeable. It does ta just a bit of practice to take it off to attach lens as the 'snap' is very small - but I got it now!!! My next trick is to figure out a way not to lose it! Am very satisfied with it.

I purchased this product with the intent of installing it over the top of my moment case with the drop in lens mount. Whoops! This product is designed to protect the lenses of iphone camera only, NOT any of the moment lenses. So if you are using Moment lenses to enhance your photography, don't bother purchasing this product. If not, then it's a great way to protect the lenses of your phone. Just know that it WILL get scratched and can interfere with photography over time.

Quick delivery overseas and the first impression of the product is great!

I bought the Moment Cinebloom lens filters and case hoping to add some cinematic flair to my iPhone 15 Pro Max photos and videos, but I am aggrieved instead.

First of all, the filter is made of cheap plastic that feels flimsy and fragile. Secondly, there are no installation instructions included in the package, so you have to figure out how to attach it yourself. Ultimately that’s with brute force, which risks breaking the filter. I have the 10% and 20% filters, but that’s pointless because there is no easy way to change them out without breaking a nail or your own spirit. Even if you do manage to install the filter, it will be covered in oil from your fingers and tears from your frustration. I do not recommend this product to anyone who values their time, money, and equipment.

I thought this was a cool idea, added good protection and looked slick, unfortunately it didn't last more than a few weeks. it shattered :(

I cannot get this to work. I have both the iPhone15 Pro and Pro Max and it really does not fit. I have been on to customer service and they could not figure it out. Also this version is different from the ones that they pointed me to. I am returning as soon as the order is complete. Waiting now for a backordered lens.

Great protection for my lens from dust, don't have to clean often.

I received my CineClear Protection Filter. Unfortunately, it doesn't not snap on as the instructions said it would nor does it stay in place. To add to the confusion, Moment included a trim ring that isn't even necessary. The glass lens cracked while trying to figure out how to install this filter. Absolutely frustrating.

Does the job, but why only 4 instead of 5 stars? The instructions are poorly written. I had major difficulty understanding how to insert the CineClear. I found a YouTube video but it was the an older version of the CineClear, slightly different installation. I was worried that I would break it! It was installed in a Moment iPhone case, it properly indicate I had to remove the existing case gasket.

For a company that prides itself of equipment for video and photos, they should have an install video. I noticed others had the same issue. It should have a QR code linking to install video. Plus, a video to remove it, for the Moment Drop-in Lens Mount.

Other than this, Moment service and equipment are great!

Glass broke on the first day just when I was taking the filter off the case.

cineclear lens does not snap in....poor fit and horrible instructions. i cant believe i paid 29.00. ..what a waste as i broke trying to install

The filter looks great and there’s no distortion from the lenses. It’s a relief to have the protection. It was easy to install and fits snuggly.
