Amanda Tromp

Amanda is known for her cinematic use of light and her ability to capture intimacy within composed frames, her photographs reveal quiet emotion and a sense of timelessness. Alongside her work photographing luxury weddings and editorials across Europe and the US, Amanda is developing a long-term personal series exploring all-girls summer camps along the East Coast of America which reflects on girlhood, community, and the beauty of a life lived offline. Returning to the camp where she spent her own childhood, she began documenting the rhythms of camp life: girls swimming, reading, resting, and growing in nature, free from the presence of screens.
