1.Wide 16mm II and 18mm Lenses
Best for Architecture + Street Photos
When To Use It: Made for the everyday photographer and filmmaker, first-time mobile lens users, and those capturing landscapes, interiors, kids, and tabletop scenes.
Our 18mm Wide T-Series Lens was our first iteration of a “wide angle lens” for the iPhone, and has since proven to be the perfect wide-angle lens for mobile photographers and filmmakers. Our first baby we made back in 2012 and still the most beloved attachable lens, despite how far camera phones have come.
And in mid 2026, we’ve entirely revamped its design and crafted a new and improved 16mm II version for future use. The extra two millimeters of width might not sound like much on paper, but in practice it gives you just a bit more breathing room; just enough to make a real difference when you're vlogging handheld, shooting talking heads outdoors, or trying to capture an environment without backing yourself into a wall.
Unlike typical phone lenses that give you a distorted ultra-wide picture, we pride lens in giving you a wide yet authentic view with total clarity. The many layers of glass gives you a vast 100-degree field tailored for today's super low phone apertures. As a result, you can pretty much shoot twice as much scenery with a more natural look, even in dim lighting.
That said, the Wide 18mm isn't obsolete. If you already own it, it still holds its own — especially as part of a multi-cam setup where you want distinct focal lengths for different angles. Both lenses can comfortably coexist in a kit, each serving a slightly different role.
