I ordered a whole set up for my iphone from moment and I didn't know where to start. This course was really interesting and I learned a lot. I would recommend it for people like me who are interested in beginner filmmaking.

Moment has outdone themselves with this Mobile Filmmaking course. Only a short course, but it packs a lot of punch into a concise amount of time. As someone who has experience in photography but limited experience in filmmaking, I found this course to be a gamechanger in getting me going with video.

Honestly, if I could, I'd hug him (the instructor). So easy to follow. Obviously, I need to put it into practice, but he me feel more comfortable approaching mobile filmmaking. These family videos are about to epic.

Great for people just starting out, the only thing i would suggest is to be a little more detailed about the smaller things, and also to shoot a little more content to show us how its done. Otherwise great course.

In pursuing a recent interest in photography and film making I’ve spent several weeks watching instructional videos on you tube. I learned a little but lacked the background knowledge to connect the pieces of information into a coherent whole. I recently viewed Mike’s sessions and found his logical, conversational style of instruction filled in many of those gaps in understanding. He went from a general overview of film making to a quite detailed description of useful equipment, lenses, filters, and settings. He then followed with an overview of photographic style, downloading and editing. I would highly recommend watching his video. It’s more than a beginner’s lesson.

This course is perfect for beginners or anyone looking for inspiration on mobile filmmaking! Mike's teaching style is amazing, and the course will you give you the foundation to get shooting right away. I love how he covers everything from gear option essentials, apps, and that the editing section included Final Cut Pro, Premier and Davinci. The course does a great job of covering a broad range of techniques. I love it!

For someone new to iPhone photography/videos this course is fabulous. It is by far, the best Moment course I have listened to so far. It was also, extremely helpful and understanding the various options and what value they bring to the image. On top of all of that, Mike's teaching style is wonderful - easy to understand and interesting to watch. I can't say enough good things about this video - just wish it was longer.

I just invested an hour+ in Mike Dewey’s new course Mobile Filmmaking 101. Bravo Mike. Loved it. Lots of content good here for iPhone photographers wanting a basic primer about shooting mobile video with iPhones. Mike’s style of teaching is both informational and inspirational. As a mobile content creator myself, who shoots booth photos and video, with iPhone cameras, I loved how he covered all the WHYs and HOWs of the tools he uses in his own mobile workflow. I’m fired up about shooting more iPhone video. Ass soon as I finish this Pabst Blue Ribbon I’m been nursing, for the past hour, I’m out of here. Life, camera, action! Thanks Mike. I highly recommend this course

Mike’s course is especially good for beginner mobile videographers. He merges his years of experience in filmmaking using large cameras with the robust technical capabilities of the camera in your pocket: the mobile phone. It’s a solid introductory course, giving you a broad overview from equipment to techniques - without burying you in details or technical jargon. At the same time, there are plenty of nuggets an intermediate filmmaker can tuck away in the “ooh, there’s a good trick/tip I can put to use!” folder for reference. Mike’s class will get you excited about all the possibilities to explore and serves as a great stepping stone to learning more!

Just got through watching Mike’s course on mobile filmmaking and it’s fantastic! As someone that uses his phone to capture clips when I don’t wanna big my big cinema set up, it’s a great learning experience for anyone that wants to either learn or just get into filmmaking, I even learned a few new things while watching it. I would recommend this to anyone that has interested in getting better at the craft or just wanna know how to get started!:tangerine:

This course is nothing more that a long sales pitch for the Moment lenses and accessories. It a waste of money, especially after spending what I did on the Moment lenses, and taught me very little about actual filmmaking.

I'm new to the world of mobile filmmaking and I feel like this course was great for me. I appreciate how details each section was on not only the lenses on mobile phones but the descriptions of the Moment products that can be used. One thing I probably would have benefited from is more visuals and examples when the different lenses or camera modes are being use. I learn better when I can see it come to life.
