This is an excellent filter to achieve a film-look shots.
I’m absolutely obsessed with this filters halation effect. It makes the sun look so beautiful around people and scenery without making things too hazy. I was worried 20% would be a bit too much but the dreamy effect is just right! You’re able to still keep images beautifully sharp, while giving subjects a bit of a more dreamy look. I’ve been so impressed and look forward to trying other moment filters.
Both the 10% and 20% CineBloom VNDs are excellent! I've been using mist filters for many years now and the CineBloom highlight bloom effect is by far the most beautiful and unique in terms of character! I pair these with my vintage lenses and it helps me create images that are truly something special! These filters are really the best of both worlds with the bloom effect and VND combined into one, no longer do I have to stack filters, I have everything I need in one high-quality filter! I highly recommend these filters to anyone wanting to create images that stand out above the rest!
For my daily walk around camera this provides a more filmic look glaring highlights without giving up too much grain or sharpness to my eye. I’ll probably grab a couple more for other lenses!
First of all, I love box - it is very reliable, the filter fits tightly. Main - quality of product and result. Images looks more cinematographic.

Prefer this over the tiffen BPM. Makes images and video making more cinematic.
The filter has a nice non-digital film effect but the thread makes it hard to screw on and off my lens. I thought I had broken the filter as I heard a crack when unscrewing it but I think it just struggles to align with the metal thread on my lens. Not the first one to point this out.

I made some photos with my canon m50 with yongnuo 50mm 1.8 (75mm ff equiv)
(no editing because I unsubscribed from Adobe) and not film because I'm broke, but all that aside I liked how my digital photos came out, diffusion filters are so sick! I only shoot film recently but this filter drastically improved my perception of my digital photos.
I also shot some video with this filter on the same lens and it's pretty cool!
Admittedly I got a bit excited when I ordered the 20% strength, I probs should have gotten the 10% because man the lighting gets blown was out with massive amounts of halation. But I'm not even mad, the effect is really gorgeous. Paired with some Kodachrome recipes in my Fuji XT3 I am getting as close as I can to a classic film look. I'll probably be buying the 10% at some point for more low key bloom though, because during the day or bright scenes the bloom can get in the way of the overall image.
Definitely made my highlights diffuse and pretty as heck! I didn't really know if I *needed* this filter, or what I'd even do with it, but I took it to this dog shoot I set up, and I'm pretty happy with the results!
At this point in time only used during daytime and very happy. 10% filter seems not to effect AF but have the impression it makes auto iso a bit difficult. Not a big issue, as long as you know it or don't use auto iso.

The filter works so good. Got me a few great shots that I was looking for. It's not too strong at 10% to overpower your scene.
Has made a huge difference in my footage. The variable nd filter gives so much more flexibility for shooting and the cone loom adds a nice softness to all my shots. Only downside I’ve ran into is that my lens cap doesn’t really fit onto it without sitting directly onto the glass :(

I already had the CineBloom 10% filter and really liked the look it gave my photos and videos, so I decided to give the 20% a try. The 20% gives a noticeably stronger diffusion effect while still keeping the image looking natural. It adds a nice glow to highlights and takes the edge off the digital sharpness without making everything look overly soft or hazy. If you like the look of the 10% but want a more pronounced cinematic, dreamy look, I’d definitely recommend trying the 20%. I’m really happy with the purchase and can see myself using both depending on the look I’m going for.

Everything I’ve gotten from Moment is just so quality. Everything is heavy, tight, feels good and works even better.
I love diffusion filters, so I own filters from several brands—like Black Mist, White Mist, Nostalgia, Lucid Dream, Cine Soft, and more. For reference, I use a Sony a1m2, a7c2, and several GM lenses. My ratio of video to photography is 5:5. Compared to other filters, the Moment CineBloom filter definitely feels natural. I love that it’s subtle without being over the top. In particular, the 10% is great for smoothing out skin tones and nicely softening that razor-sharp resolution, while the 20% works really well when I want a stronger effect. I think I’ll be using the 10% filter as my daily filter for a while. I hope Moment creates a wider variety of diffusion filters with different moods in the future!
Most of my lenses have Moment 5% CineBloom filters on them in place of a UV filter. The 5% is subtle, it takes the edge off of clinical lenses and high MP cameras, and if you shoot with a lens hood the effect is hardly noticeable. They're wonderful, without being too much for every day use. They're unfortunately now discontinued, and while I've stocked up on most sizes, a couple popular ones are impossible to find anywhere. Tiffen Pro Mist filters are still available of course, but I prefer the mids in the CineBlooms. Bummer.
