Before You Begin...
- The software currently only runs on Windows using intel or AMD chips. Virtual computers/parallels are not suggested as will cause additional issues.
- If you do not have access to a PC, please reach out to hello@shopmoment.com as we are working on other solutions
- Close all running software on the PC before updating the firmware
- Unplug all hubs/docks/SSDs/extra devices beyond a keyboard & mouse
- Do not update the firmware through a dock or hub
- The best cable to use is the USBC cable that came with SuperCage, however some other USB-C or USB-C to USB-A cables may also work.
Directions
- Click here to download the latest SuperCage Firmware
- Unzip the downloaded folder onto your desktop
- Open the "G-Upgrade_v0.08" folder
- Plug the SuperCage into the computer from the "Phone 10 Gb/s" port.
- On the computer, open "G-Upgrade.exe." It might tell you that the software is not trusted, click "More Info" and then run it anyway.
- Click the "Load" button.
7. Navigate to the "FW" folder inside of the folder you extracted earlier
8. Click on "Moment SuperCage_V1.19.04.bin" and click "open"
9. Click the "Auto" button. The update will begin running, DO NOT disconnect the cage.
10. Wait until the blue "0" changes to "1" and the status says "Wait usb port Unplug". You can now click "Stop" and unplug your SuperCage.
