The VideoMicro II is a true shotgun microphone that captures highly directional audio. Rode completely redesigned the body utilizing their revolutionary annular line tube technology. This gives the mic an incredibly natural sound that is crystal clear and full-bodied and is unlike anything you've heard before in such a small form factor. The other big upgrade is the Helix Mount, a highly innovative isolation mount system specifically for the VideoMicro II. Molded from a single piece of advanced high-trail thermoplastic, it fully isolates the capsule from vibrations that can occur during use, which can result in rumbles and other audio artifacts in a recording.
