Sherry started taking pictures of her kids, as
most parents do, but looking at the photos and
editing them, caused her more stress. She was
living a hectically boring life and photographing just that. It wasn’t the creative escape she
needed so she began slowly eliminating the
background noise and it morphed into the
minimalistic style she has today. Now when
she takes photos and edits them, it is an extremely calming and meditative process.
Photography was never something Sherry
dreamt about or even thought she’d be good
at, but mobile photography has completely
changed her life. Having never taken a course
or watched any how-to videos about photography, her work comes solely from her need to
escape the chaotic monotony of a stay-at-home mom.
