Convert Your Files (If Needed)
Now that your footage is all in order and successfully imported into Adobe premiere, it’s time to convert your slow-mo files. As skateboarders, surfers, yogis, and dog walkers — we love any good action shot as much as the next person.
Our slow-motion files are typically shot in 60fps at 1080p. The easiest way to convert this type of footage in Premier is to highlight all the footage, right-click to bring up a menu of options, click “Modify”, click “Interpret Footage”, and under the “Frame Rate” box you’ll type in 23.967fps in the “Assume This Frame Rate” channel. Finally, click OK.
We know this might sound confusing as a beginner, but you’ll get the hang of it in no time.
