To Know:
Canon’s Rebel SL3 is small but mighty and ensures a ton of features packed for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Improving in every way better than its predecessor, the SL2, this bad boy boasts a top-of-the-line range APS-C sensor accompanied by a 24.1MP of resolution to deliver excellent quality images. The Live Shooting on the LCD remarks excellent manual control, and packs it in with 4K video which was previously missing from the SL2. Wrapped in an ergonomically designed masterpiece, Canon’s durability far surpasses anyone's further expectations, as well. It’s the smaller of the Canon cameras, making it easy to bring along on any trip you desire.
What We Love:
Compact But Mighty
A lightweight, intuitive DSLR.
LCD Screen
Superb Live View shooting.
Comparable
Larger than mirrorless rivals.

To Know:
This astounding piece of tech of a workhorse in the photo and video world. Perfect for all sorts of creative enthusiasts, available as a great price for what it’s truly worth. Accrued with an APS-C sensor of 32.5MP, a high speed frame rate of 10FPS, a glorious uncropped 4K video, and the handling ergonomics of pure joy. I’ve always appreciated the way a Canon camera feels in the hand, reminding me why I continuously choose to shoot on DSLRs; such a tactile experience! You get a wondrous optical viewfinder, making it so that DSLR’s are going to be highly sought after for years to come (step aside, mirrorless users!).
What We Love:
Fully Articulated LCD Screen
Achieve ultimate manual control with the bigger picture.
Tremendous Value
Such a great camera for what it’s worth.
Classic DSLR
Will make you fall in love with DSLRs all over again.

To Know:
This bad boy is pretty much Canon’s latest landmark camera for all-around excellent build, quality, and impressionable features. This mirrorless bombshell is not only cornering every segment of the market, but boasts a 45MP sensor that produces insane quality thanks to the new low-pass filter system, as well as the world’s leading class auto-focus tracking system. With a whopping 5,940 AP points for photography and 4,500 for video — no wonder everyone gawks at this technological masterpiece; this camera inherently has the same AF system as the EOS 1D X Mark III, mind you. Holding an uncropped 8K Raw video internally at up to 29.97FPS in 4:2:2 12-bit Canon Log or HDR PQ in both UHD and DCI. This is totally cinematic quality performance. However, it does have some recording limits that afflict the EOS R5 when shooting both 8K and 4F; firmware has been introduced to lessen this blow, but this is definitely one of the drawbacks.
What We Love:
Exceptional 8K Video
So good, it’s unruly.
Image Quality is Top Shelf
Truly doesn’t get any better than this.
Fast AF
Same AF system as their most expensive Mark III camera, per mentioned above.
The Details:
Brand: Canon
Price: $3,899.00
Product Type: Mirrorless Camera
Best For: Any creative on the professional end needing a Canon flagship.

To Know:
While this camera has been around for years, this incredibly durable yet highly sophisticated and sought after camera boasts features and specs made for any professional. It promises to keep up with you, considering countless pros in the camera industry use it as their daily workhorse. While the R-series mirrorless designs have been taking off, this classic DSLR includes a lag-free optical viewfinder, great handling with larger lenses, and an extremely great battery life for all-day events. It’s even been used to film scenes, like The Mandalorian, it’s truly something to rave about in the industry. It holds a 61-point autofocus system, which is fast and powerful, and Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology making the Live View AF fast and snappy, too. It has 30.4MP, which might not be as high as the others on the market right now, but portrays an awesome balance between low-light and low-noise performance.
What We Love:
Fast AF
Incredibly fast and snappy.
High Image Quality
Which is why it’s used for huge professional shoots and events (and even films!).
Keep Its Name
Been around for years, but still remains as a solid life-long camera tool.

To Know:
This amazing camera turns out to be much more than the average consumer might expect. It’s an upgrade from the previous 1D X as it holds an important step forward for DSLRs generally, boasting deep-learning AF, uncropped 4K (something that had been missing from Canon cameras for quite some time), a revamped control system and much more besides (Digital Camera World, 2021). Having cameras with reliable auto-focus systems and a wild burst-mode will be increasingly important for those needing to power-shoot anything, and this bad boy can do it. It’s one of the best cameras Canon ever made.
What We Love:
Fast, Reliable Shooting
Such a great shooting method.
Uncropped 4K
Something we’re especially stoked on.
Expensive, But Worth It
Truly one of the best.

To Know:
Not everyone may need a super large DSLR, or a compact mirrorless as expensive as a mortgage. Then the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II came out, it provided unexpectedly powerful results to the vlogging community, making it anyone’s go-to YouTube camera for beginners. The fully uncropped 4K video and a 3.5mm microphone port beautifully compliments a lot of the strength behind Mark II which included a flip-out LCD screen making it an extremely well-rounded camera. If you can afford the outlay of the Mark III, then we’d recommend upgrading to his body as you’ll find it to be very capable for both video and photos alike.
What We Love:
Uncropped 4K w/ LiveStreaming
I mean, come on. So handy!
Compact
Small, but mighty.
Affordable
Not something entirely too expensive compared to the others on this list.
The Details:
Brand: Canon
Price: $749.99
Product Type: Compact Camera
Best For: Vloggers or everyday YouTubers needing a trusty littel camera for beginner’s videos and creative activities.
